A Historic Recipe
The spiedie (pronounced Spee-Dee) was created in Endicott, NY by Italian immigrants sometime in the early 20th century. Today I've improved the recipe, one that my grandfather would recognize as real food & be proud to put his name on.
My grandfather Nicholas (Chic) DelSanto created this recipe in the 1940’s with local, fresh ingredients.
I first debuted this product commercially in 1992.
I have re-introduced an improved recipe for what is the highest quality and healthiest spiedie marinade available.
